The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NOAA NESDIS) has released the first of three commissioned reports assessing digital twin technologies in Earth observation. The Joint Venture Partnership program, established in 2022, commissioned these studies to analyze the maturity of digital twin technology integration into NOAA systems and operations.
