The Department of Transportation (DOT) has been discreet regarding its work on generative artificial intelligence (AI). However, documents acquired by FedScoop reveal that the federally funded research organisation, MITRE, has been developing an AI-based system to aid the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
MITRE’s Involvement in AI Research for FAA¶
